| Alarmingly, less women in our region are accessing EARLY PRENATAL CARE. All three counties reported declines in the number of women receiving prenatal care during the first three months of pregnancy. The Healthy People 2010 goal is for 90% of women to access health care during the 1st trimester of the pregnancy. Orange County reported the lowest rates, at 54.8%. All three counties reported rates below the 2007 New York State average of 69.2%. |
