In this childbirth education series of one to four classes, participants will learn:

• Anatomy/Changes In Pregnancy
• Nutrition and Weight Gain
• Pain in Labor
• Relaxation and Visual Imagery
• Stages of Labor
• Comfort Measures for Mom and Her Partner
• Positions For Labor
• Interventions/Pain Medications/Cesarean Birth
• Postpartum Depression
• Newborn Care
• Breastfeeding

The classes are taught by Liz Pickett, CD, PCD(DONA), Janna Comando, CD, (DONA), Rachel Durland, ICCE, or Stephanie Sosnowski, IBCLC, ICCE, Perinatal Health Educators for Maternal Infant Services Network.
